BoomerCompass is an outplacement firm specializing in the boomer generation. Our activities include:

Kit Jeffrey, Chief Boomer and the company's founder, has been providing professional services in outplacement and career transition since 1986. He has consulted with leading Fortune 500 companies, small to medium-size businesses(SMBs), not-for-profit and government organizations on outplacement for age 50+ executives, managers and professionals.

Working as a consultant and Senior Vice President at a leading global career services firm, Kit recognized the need for a new process that would bring together the knowledge and resources of the large career consulting organizations with the one-on-one attention of the small partnerships and apply this to the particular needs of the boomer workforce. This process is the core of the BoomerCompass practice and client success.

Kit is a popular speaker, web cast presenter and thought leader who advises organizations on managing layoffs and restructurings involving members of the boomer generation and providing job search and transition assistance to help them move forward with re-employment and career change. His blog, BoomerCompass Blog, is widely followed by HR professionals, as well as individuals interested in career transition, personal branding and the use of social media and social networking to manage e-reputations.
